About Us
The International Sports Organization (ISO), LLC is committed to helping children gain athletic and leadership skills by teaching them how to play basketball, cricket, football, and soccer. We have successfully carried out several projects, such as hosting cricket and soccer tournaments and other sports events with Mosaic Church, The University of Maryland and Lutheran Social Services. Our current project is with M and M Learning School, where we are teaching the children soccer.
Our Mission
Being involved in sports provides children with many benefits, such as exercise, the opportunity to make friends, and the opportunity to learn about teamwork and leadership skills. Our mission is to provide these benefits by teaching classes in different sports. While many sports are already available in Montgomery County and Prince George’s County schools, they have not yet offered cricket. While ISO teaches multiple sports, it specializes in cricket. Cricket is very popular with immigrants from countries such as Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, and Pakistan. By teaching cricket, our organization hopes to attract immigrant children who want to play their favorite sport and US children who want to learn a new sport. By bringing immigrant children and children who are US citizens together they can share their experiences, learn from each other and become friends.
